Two great trucks. Why choose Nissan?
When buying a truck, dependability is at the top of the list for anyone in the market. And both the 2018 Nissan Titan and the 2018 Ford F-150 have that quality. The Ford F-150 is the best selling truck in America, and the 2017 Titan model was named TruckTrend’s “Pickup Truck of the Year.” So between these two great models, how do you decide?
2018 Nissan Titan
The 2018 Nissan Titan offers three standard features that used to be available options, including:
- Standard column shifter,
- tow/haul mode with Downhill Speed Control,
- and tailgate assist.
Combine these with a wide array of available upgrade features, compared to the F-150:
- Available hill descent control (King and Crew Cab only),
- 120-volt power outlet in cargo bed,
- front and rear sonar system,
- and Intelligent Around View® Monitor (King and Crew Cab only).
These are just the beginning of the list of features and perks offered with the 2018 Nissan Titan.
2018 Ford F-150
America’s best-selling truck has some great additions to this year’s model. Update exterior styling, new interior color options, and an available audio system give fresh style to this trustworthy truck. In addition, it has made the rear-view camera a standard feature on all Ford models. Available options include:
- 4G LTE modem for a WiFi hot spot,
- Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go functionality,
- and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection.
Seems like a neck-and-neck race for these two trucks,
so come and see us at Newton Nissan (and Newton Ford South!) to test drive one for yourself!
Nissan’s striking lineup of crossovers continues with the 2018 Nissan Murano. In 2017, the Murano was named “2017 Best 2-Row SUV for the Money.” It was also named by J.D. Power as the top vehicle in the mid-size SUV category. But with Nissan, awards are not the goal, or a stoplight for improvement; instead, constant innovation is the goal.
Technology to Stay Connected
The 2018 Nissan Murano features technological improvements to help keep drivers connected, without being distracted. This includes AppleCarPlay and Android Auto, NissanConnect with Navigation, and SiriusXM (with subscription). This is housed in a 8-inch color display with touch screen control.
On the inside, different trim levels offer different levels of luxury. Choose between a power liftgate (SL & Platinum), a Dual Panel moonroof (Platinum), heated rear seats and steering wheel (SL), and more! In addition, the SL Midnight Edition package, a popular package from 2017, carries over in many models and offers new content for the 2018 Nissan Murano.
Features to Keep You Safe
Finally, the best enhancements are always the ones that keep you and your passengers safe, and the Murano lacks none of them. Standard on all grades is Automatic Emergency Braking and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning. Added to the SV grade are Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Intelligent Cruise control. In the SV Premier package, added to the rear-camera is the Intelligent Around View, which gives you full scope of what is behind, in front, and all around your vehicle as you reverse (see below).
